The intention of this Project is to empower women around the globe: to appreciate their skills, to value the contributions they make to their communities and to expand their influence and impact. Women around the globe are leading change in their towns, villages & cities. Their powerful impact will not only benefit their local communities, but the larger global community as well. The need and the opportunity has never been greater to support and nurture leadership.
Meet the Local women leaders in Ethiopia, Uganda, Burkina Faso, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Vietnam, the Muckleshoot Nation, and at Antioch University Seattle who participated in the Project conversations.
The Women's Leadership Development Summit will held in Seattle on September 28-29, 2013. Click here to see how you can participate and donate.
This Capacity-Building Guide is dedicated to the women who participated in the Conversations, which revealed the many ways women lead in nine very different cultures. Click here to download the full PDF.
Big thanks to Kelly Lynne for uploading the second half of the guide. Some graphics, some navigation and a few edits and it will be ready to launch at the conference this weekend!
Slowly but surely the site is coming together. All the pages have been created – most not populated with content yet. The menus are looking pretty good too.
This is a work in progress as we convert the Capacity Building Guide into a website. Please let us know if you have comments or would like to volunteer. Thanks.
